The fight was the UFC debut of both men and the professional debut of Mike Jackson. The winner would get the shot at UFC debutant and WWE superstar Phil "CM Punk" Brooks.
The first round began and they touch gloves. "He's trying to cut you off." Jackson lands a jab. Gall drops him hard with a right, pounces with two hard right hammerfists, takes the back with one hook. Works for a choke, gets the other hook, that choke's tight and Jackson taps. Absolutely pathetic. CM Punk smiles nervously in the crowd. They face off in the cage and stand next to each other. They shake hands. They seem friendly. CM Punk shakes hands with the corner.
