Louis Smolka is a flyweight and later a bantamweight fighter in the UFC.
Smolka most recently defeated Irish veteran Neil Seery via an entertaining unanimous decision.
He was then called out by and fought another Irishman Paddy Holohan, and their billing was changed to main event stature at the last second. Both men stepped up to the plate with an exciting fight. Smolka ultimately came out victorious via second round rear-naked choke submission.
Smolka next fought prospect and fan favorite Ben Nguyen dominating a tough Nguyen completely en route to a second round TKO victory.
Smolka then faced UFC newcomer and TUF veteran Brandon Moreno losing via an upset first round guillotine choke submission to Moreno. The loss completely derailed what seemed to be a sure title fight in Smolka's near future.
