The first round began. Miller came out skipping. They traded body kicks and clinched. Miller said smething. Miller got a body lock trip to mount, Vitale regained half-guard nicely. Miller was looking to pass with double underhooks. Miller passed after a bit to side control and kneed the body. Miler kneed the body twice more after a bit. Miller landed a knee to the face. Vitale missed a flying foot stomp, Miller rolled for an anklelock, Vitale landed right hands downard, three or four, Miller turtled up. Miller stood to the clinch. Miller kneed the face inside. Vitale was defending. Miller switched to a single. Vitale stuffed it. Another single. Vitale stuffed it. Miller working for a double and he got it to guard. Miller landed some lefts and body shots. Miller ate an upkick. Miller tried the lookaway right. Miller passed to half-guard. Miller mounted after a bit. Vitale gave up his back with both hooks. Miller hammerfisting in under. Vitale stood halfway. They were in the ropes but Miller had the rear-naked choke and Vitale tapped.
