James Krause is a current welterweight and former lightweight fighter who has also dabbled in middleweight on short notice. He currently competes for the UFC, but has also in the past fought for Bellator and Resurrection Fighting Alliance.

RFA[]

Krause most recently made his RFA debut against Mark Korzenowski, defeating Korzenowski via twenty-six second headkick knockout.

Krause next defeated Amir Khillah via a close split decision in the RFA.

He made RFA his place to stay as he next fought Guilherme Trindade, knocking Trindade out with punches in thirty-one seconds.

He then fought the tough Joe Jordan, defeating Jordan via guillotine choke submission at the start of the bout's third round.

Krause is next fought a rematch against RFA newcomer and Bellator veteran Toby Imada. Krause cruised to a unanimous decision win.

UFC[]

Krause next stepped in to make his UFC debut replacing Isaac Vallie-Flagg against Sam Stout. Krause defeated Stout via guillotine choke submission near the end of the fight, earning Submission and Fight of the Night honors in his UFC debut over a veteran like Stout. Krause got a huge boost off of the fight, really stepping into the spotlight for the first time.

Krause next signed to fight Strikeforce veteran Bobby Green. Green defeated Krause via a controversial first round technical knockout.

Krause next signed to fight former WEC lightweight champion Jamie Varner. Krause defeated a game Varner via TKO (injury) at the end of the first round.

Krause next fought Strikeforce veteran Jorge Masvidal losing via a relatively dominant unanimous decision.

Krause then signed to fight Valmir Lazaro. Lazaro defeated Krause via a forgettable split decision.

Krause next fought Daron Cruickshank, submitting Cruickshank with a first round rear-naked choke before then defeating Shane Campbell via a unanimous decision.

Krause was next set twice to fight veteran Ross Pearson in mid-to-late 2016 but was injured twice and replaced by Will Brooks and Stevie Ray respectively.
