The fight was the UFC debut of both men and it was to decide the middleweight winner of the first season of The Ultimate Fighter.
The Fight[]
The first round began. They both came out relatively slowly in southpaw, Florian's bouncing around. Four thirty-five. "Kenny looks like he's.. I guess he's trying to counter." Four fifteen. Florian bounces around, crowd boos. Diego blitzed in, worked for the legs somehow with four minutes. Florian's defending. They traded a knee each to the body, Diego kneed him and ate one, they broke. Three thirty. Diego blitzed in and got a double passing to side control immediately, three fifteen. Florian regained guard. Diego landed a big left, three minutes left. Diego got the back, Florian rolled back to guard. Diego mounted, two thirty-five with five rights, Kenny is cut. Diego thought of an arm triangle, two rights and a left or two. Five rights and Mazzagatti stopped it with two fifteen, lol.
