Dennis Hallman is lightweight fighter who has also fought at welterweight and middleweight. He is most known for his two quick submission victories over former two-time UFC welterweight champion Matt Hughes.

Second (or third?) UFC RunEdit

He most recently defeated Ben Saunders via unanimous decision.

He next fought the returning Karo Parisyan. He dropped Parisyan with a right hand and finished him with a TKO just over a minute into the first round. He was next set to face Anthony Waldburger, but he was injured and replaced by Johny Hendricks.

After recovering, he next faced fellow veteran Brian Ebersole. Ebersole defeated Hallman with a bloody first round GNP KO (elbows and hammerfists).

Afterwards, Hallman dropped back down to lightweight to face undefeated striking prospect John Makdessi. He handed Makdessi his first loss via first round rear-naked choke submission.

After a variety of injuries in which he was set to fight Tony Ferguson and Thiago Tavares, Hallman was beset by even greater personal troubles and he was cut from the UFC for missing weight twice in a row.

Outside of the UFCEdit

After a long layoff Hallman next signed to fight Bellator and Sengoku veteran Dan Hornbuckle. He defeated Hornbuckle via majority decision.

Hallman then fought and defeated Aleksey Shapovalov via second round rear-naked choke submission in Shapovalov's native Russia.

WSOFEdit

Hallman next signed to make his WSOF debut and step in on relatively short notice to replace an injured Josh Burkman against UFC veteran Jon Fitch.
