Christian Morecraft is a retired heavyweight fighter.

UFC Career[]

He most recently lost his UFC debut via second-round knockout to young veteran Stefan Struve.

He next faced fellow Struve victim Sean McCorkle, defeating him via second-round technical submission due to a standing guillotine choke.

He next faced a fellow up-and-comer in the officially undefeated Matt Mitrione. Mitrione defeated Morecraft via second-round knockout.

Morecraft next signed on to face Pat Barry in a likely loser-leaves-town matchup in Nashville, Tennessee. Barry knocked out Morecraft in the first round.

Morecraft retired from mixed martial arts in late March 2013 over a year after the Barry loss.

Comeback Outside of the UFC[]

Morecraft came out of retirement in September 2013 to fight Randy Smith, submitting Smith with an armbar in the first round round.

Morecraft next signed in June 2014 to make his super-heavyweight divisional debut against former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia.
